Humans have three pursuits in life, i.e. Parneshana (Longevity), Dhaneshana (Wealth) & Paralokeshana (Desire to attain salvation) to have happiness in life. Paryeshana is base for all the pursuits and it can be achieved only with good health. Ayurveda is a science which deals with the maintenance of health and treating the diseased.
